To use the keys listed here (which are GVLKs), you must first have a KMS host running in your deployment. If you haven’t already configured a KMS host, see Deploy KMS Activation for steps to set one up. If you are converting a computer from a KMS host, MAK, or retail edition of Windows to a KMS client, install the applicable setup key (GVLK) from the following tables.
I installed the KMS host on one of my Win 2008 R2 servers.
I used the MS KMS key for that Win 2008 R2 server to act as the KMS Host. I tried to add as well the Outlook 2013 KMS license key but was unsuccessful. I tried to do the same with the Windows 7 Pro KMS license key but failed as well. Is there a certain method of installing those KEys to be used by my Win 7 machines that were activated with the MAK key? Same goes with Outlook 2013. For Outlook 2013 I have two different sets of KMS keys because I purchased two sets at different times. Should I consolidate them as one key? or leave them as two keys? I am getting ready to launch some WIN 7 Pro machines on my VMware environment, but I need the KMS to accept it before I can activate my golden image for snapshot.
